Contact Wilkes County Offices

This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, retrieve an official booking record, or decide whether a photo can be released. Contact the agency that created or holds the record.

Start With the Right Office

For Wilkes County Jail custody, contact the jail or use NC SAVAN/VINE. The jail page directs the public to VINE for charges, bond, housing, court dates, and release notifications. For an incident or booking photo, identify the arresting agency first. A North Wilkesboro or Wilkesboro officer may make the arrest while the county jail holds the person.

Wilkes County Sheriff's Office: 381 Executive Drive, Wilkesboro, NC 28697, 336-903-7600. Wilkes County Jail: 502 Courthouse Drive, Wilkesboro, NC 28697, 336-903-7623. The reviewed sources do not publish a booking-photo fee or fixed turnaround.

  • Current county custody: use the Wilkes County Jail page, NC SAVAN/VINE, or 1-877-627-2826.
  • Booking record or photo: use the county records guide and request the item from WCSO, the jail, or the arresting agency.
  • North Wilkesboro arrest: contact North Wilkesboro Police, 801 Main Street, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659, 336-838-3158.
  • Wilkesboro arrest: contact Wilkesboro Police, 100 North West Street, Wilkesboro, NC 28697, 336-667-7277. Its town form is linked below.
  • Court case or disposition: use the Wilkes County court page or the Clerk at 500 Courthouse Drive, 336-651-4400.
  • State prisoner or supervision: use the NCDAC offender search, not the county jail route.
  • Federal or immigration custody: use the BOP locator or ICE ODLS. These are separate systems.

Municipal Request Paths

North Wilkesboro's police page does not publish a specific request form, photo fee, or response time. Ask the department which custodian holds the incident or image. Wilkesboro provides an official Public Records Request Form. The town says it follows North Carolina Chapter 132, processes requests promptly, may redact material, and charges actual copy costs. Ronda has no verified municipal police records page or booking feed in the reviewed sources, so the arresting agency must be identified before sending a request.

Describe the full name, date, agency, incident, and record sought. Ask for the incident report and booking photo separately. A records request cannot create a record that does not exist.
